Music in the Grove Concert Series 2011 has been booked and the scheduled bands are anxiously waiting to perform. A great big thank you to Jodi Lynn for all her hard work and dedication to this program.
As Harvest Fest is approaching at a rapid pace, all hands are on deck (PLEASE). This year we are celebrating two milestones together. The Walden Harvest Fest in its 25th year and The Walden Community Council in its 15th year. If there is one thing I know be ready for one big celebration. Planning meetings for Harvest Fest are the last Wednesday of each month at The NY School of Music.
Please pass the word that you can still purchase a personalized brick to placed in Walden Veterans Memorial Park. For more information, please contact Brenda or Nat.
The Flag Day Ceremony at Veterans Memorial Park was absolutely wonderful. The Committee is to be congratulated for all their hard work.
On May 13th the RAGNAR Relay Race took place. The Village of Walden’ s checkpoint wa
s held at the Thruway Market parking lot. The runners voted the community with the best checkpoint. The results are in and WE WON!!!!!
